The Legacy Golf Club
According to the Las Vegas Sun, the City of Henderson was born during War World II to produce adequate amounts of magnesium for military supplies, such as airplane parts. The Basic Magnesium Plant was built in 1943 in Southern Nevada, creating Henderson. According to the City of Henderson website, Henderson was incorporated in 1953 and boasts nearly eight-hundred (800) new businesses. According to the United States Census Bureau, Henderson is home to more than three-hundred (300) thousand residents and twenty-five (25) thousand Veterans.
The Armed Forces Chamber of Commerce endeavors to regularly provide education, information, marketing plus networking opportunities and resources to Veterans who live and operate businesses in Henderson, Nevada. The Legacy Golf Club, located at 130 Par Excellence Drive Henderson, Nevada 89074, partnered with the Armed Forces Chamber to host shindigs beginning in 2023. Shindigs include but are not limited to a New Year Kick-Off in January, State of the Chamber Address in March, Business, Career and Veterans Expo in May, Health & Wellness Fair in August and Achievement Awards in October.
