The world was brought to its knees by the novel COVID-19. Nevada was hit hardest with the highest unemployment rates in America. Small cities and unincorporated towns in Clark County were hit hardest in Southern Nevada. Among those cities struggling to meet the many needs of its residents was Mesquite. Mayor Allan Litman (pictured fourth from the left) shared hardships faced by his City during the shutdown with Commander of the Armed Forces Chamber, Andre' Haynes. One of the greatest hardships was the lack of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) among first responders. A few days after learning of the challenges faced by Mesquite, Haynes deployed the Chamber's Chief of Staff, Destiny Beavers (pictured third from left) and Chamber members Dr. Smith (pictured second from left) and Eric Grayson (pictured sixth from left) to Mesquite with a supply of N95 Respirators and Surgical Gowns donated by Extensive Pain Primary & Urgent Care Center of Nevada plus Dr. Smith.
